Plotting Time

Here's a chance to plot with Dani. I hope to have quite a few plots with her, given her job, some negative and some positive--message me anytime you'd like to involve her in something or just comment here.

Info on Dani for possible plotting~: 
▸ Dani is from Siren Cove. She spent her youth traveling the world and helping those in need.
▸ Super dislikes wealthy people and how the world is handed to them.
▸ Her sister went missing 4 years ago. Aimee is currently a cold case.
▸ Editor-in-chief of The Cove, a juicy tabloid magazine that buys stories and pictures from citizens and the paps.
▸ No one knows she uses her income to fund investigative journalism around the world. Your character probably thinks she just likes making money off other people's gossip.
▸ She's ~around to hear gossip about anyone in this town if your character wants.
▸ Making a deal: Dani's powers are focused on making deals. A character can strike a deal with her to expose or stifle a story. Once a deal is made with Dani, both parties are bound to it and cannot break that deal unless Dani releases them from in. Which takes maybe a bit of blood and an incantation or two. 
▸ Dani can be a powerful friend or foe. But true friendship with Dani is rare and probably only a handful of individuals can claim that.

Whenever I do get around to apping Trina she works at the Daily Siren, but I have headcanoned that she runs a gossip blog so maybe that can be related to The Cove. I assume these two are sister publications anyway. Maybe they all work in the same building? Trina might drop Dani a story or two if it's too scandalous for the local paper to print. Trina would also have tons of pics and tidbits to sell, probs whatever she couldn't verify.

Dani is a very dangerous figure to Corry. She already has a long and tumultuous history with paparazzi and she's in an even more vulnerable position in Siren Cove for things to come out (like the truth of her rise to America's Sweetheart by way of siren powers).

I would love to plot about this, either having a precarious conflictual relationship OR a tentative alliance/friendship benefiting the both of them. Thoughts?

Oooooh, Nerium is not going to like that she makes deals. That has long been a stronghold of manipulative Grimhildes and their hold on the town. But I can see her also respecting the magic inherent in her unbreakable bonds. What sort of relationship do you foresee between them?

Well. If she ever wants Tyra gossip, then the best person to try and get it from is Ethan. And if so, I imagine he is terrified of her because she is clearly flawless, but could also get him fired.

Maybe he is given stories by the Mayor's PR to 'leak' though, so they could get to know each other in a more positive light later.

I suspect Spencer would not be a fan because The Cove probably would have written some nasty things about him after he got arrested for killing his fam bam? Rude! Coop would probably just want to bang. Or maybe they already banged. Who knows~~~~

Alodia would just like Dani to know that if she starts going after any of her cousins, Alodia will *destroy* her. That can manifest as a tenuous alliance or an out-and-out rivalry or anything in between :D

Between the investigative journalism and the missing siblings, Dani and Jacob should probably have some sort of connection. I don't think he'd sell her stories, though - maybe they crossed paths when they were journalists and were like "...hey wait didn't we grow up in the same town?" (And then moved back home and were like "WAITASECOND ARE YOU STALKING ME".)

...although if that is the case, Jacob will be Very Disappointed in Dani for sinking to the level of tabloid editor.

I can't imagine Levi liking her very much although he wouldn't be particularly worried about anything she might have on him. He's pretty scandal free because he's boring. He would, however, probably help her any way that he could with her sister's case.

Clint would just "no comment" everything and give no fucks.

Kiiiim would be terrified that she would find out who he really is though. Not that the rest of the world would care much, but he would.

Genevieve says 10 out of 10, would bang/befriend.
